Eggy bread B.L.T.

Sandwiches make a great snack or a complete meal.  This turned out to be a variation on the classic (B)acon, (L)ettuce, (T)omato sandwich. Tomatoes and bacon are a no brainer, so I kept them. Instead of plain lettuce i substituted for tasty flat leaf parsley. Plain white bred was replaced by eggy bread.


  • Slices of bread
  • Egg
  • milk
  • Bacon
  • Tomatos
  • Flatleaf parsley
  • Onion
  • Mayo
  • Chili sauce

Fry the bacon, place on kitchen paper to drain.

Whisk together the egg and milk, season with salt and pepper. Place 2 slices of bread in the mixture to soak for a couple of minutes.

Fry the bread slices on both sides until golden brown.

Spread som mayo and chili sauce on both pieces of bread and assemble the sandwich.
